EU citizens do not need a visa to enter the Federal Republic of Germany. All other foreigners are always required a visa to attend Africa Expo & Festival in Germany.

How to arrive at Afrika Expo Tübingen, Germany!

Directions, Location & Accomodation

The journey to Tübingen is easy and possible by train, car or plane.

Tübingen is located on the Neckar river, about 40 kilometres south of Stuttgart, between the Schönbuch Nature Park and the Swabian Alb. In the “city of short distances” shops and sights are mostly centrally located and within walking distance. All other destinations are connected to the public transport network.

By train
In 45 or 55 minutes from Stuttgart main station (ICE connection) to Tübingen city centre. From the city center it`s about 10mins walk or you can board Bus 3 driving to Hirschau or Bus 9 driving to  and the stop is Freibad.

By bus
Several long-distance bus lines run to Tübingen without changing trains from Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt am Main, Freiburg, Constance or Karlsruhe.

By car
From the A 8 exit Stuttgart Degerloch via the B 27 in 30 minutes, from the A 81 exit Herrenberg via the B 28 in 25 minutes to Tübingen.

By plane
25 minutes by car from Stuttgart airport or 50 minutes by airport bus. The Airportsprinter departs every half hour from Monday to Friday, Saturdays as well as Sundays and public holidays every hour to Tübingen.

Afrika Expo & 10th International Afrika Festival Tübingen, Germany takes place on the Weilheimer Wiesen fairground. Address, Europastraße 80, 72072 Tübingen, Germany.

From Tübingen city or main train station you can take Bus 19 direction Kilchberg/ Bühl or Bus 18 direction Hirschau. Then come out at Bus stop: Freibad.
